Willow Creek Acres raises Long-Haired Mini Dachshunds and Rough Collies in Elko, Nevada.

Our dogs are home raised rather than kenneled and are part of our everyday family life.

Limited AKC Registration — $1,500

Full AKC Registration — $2,000, available on a case-by-case approved basis

Full AKC Registration — $2,500, available on a case-by-case approved basis

Full AKC Registration is not automatically available and must be approved by Willow Creek Acres individually.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place for a Willow Creek Acres puppy.

Puppy-pick order is determined by the order deposits are received.

• PayPal

These payment methods may be used for the $500 deposit and final puppy balance.

Our process begins by completing a Puppy Application.

After reviewing your application, we’ll schedule a FaceTime Interview so we can get to know one another, answer your questions, and make sure Willow Creek Acres is the right fit for your family.

Once approved, your $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your place.

Our puppy-pick process begins when the puppies are approximately 2 weeks old.

Families choose in the order deposits were received. We help guide you through the selection process as you consider which puppy may be the right fit for your family.

Yes, approved families may visit their puppies, but visits begin only after the puppies are 4 weeks old.

This allows the puppies important time to grow and develop before receiving visitors.

Our puppies are ready to go to their new families at approximately 8 weeks of age.

The remaining puppy balance is due at go-home time.

Yes. Families may arrange local pickup in Elko, Nevada, or delivery may be available for an additional fee.

Yes.

Our Mini Dachshund parents are Embark health tested, and our Rough Collie parents are Gensol health tested.

Health-testing documentation is available to prospective puppy families upon request.

Yes. Willow Creek Acres puppies come with our standard health guarantee.

Families will receive the applicable health guarantee and contract as part of the puppy process.

Yes. Our puppies receive a veterinary well check before leaving Willow Creek Acres.

We are fortunate to have Melanie’s oldest daughter, Dr. Brandi Waheed, serve as our program veterinarian. Dr. Waheed personally handles our puppies’ well checks.

Our puppies are raised in our home and are not kenneled. They receive individual attention, love, and care as part of our everyday family life.

We currently feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan as part of our commitment to quality nutrition and giving our puppies a healthy start.

Our standard puppy pricing includes Limited AKC Registration.

Full AKC Registration may be available for an additional cost on a case-by-case approved basis:

Rough Collie: $2,000 with Full AKC Registration

Mini Dachshund: $2,500 with Full AKC Registration
