Limited AKC Registration — $1,500

Full AKC Registration — $2,000, available on a case-by-case approved basis.

Mini Dachshunds:

Limited AKC Registration — $2,000

Full AKC Registration — $2,500, available on a case-by-case approved basis.

A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your place.

Full AKC Registration is not automatically available and must be approved by Willow Creek Acres on an individual basis.

1. Puppy Application — Complete our Puppy Application so we can learn more about you, your family, and what you are looking for in your new puppy.

2. FaceTime Interview — Once we receive your application, we’ll connect personally through a FaceTime Interview so we can get to know each other, answer your questions, and make sure Willow Creek Acres is the right fit for your family.

3. Place Your Deposit — Once approved, a $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your place. Puppy-pick order is determined by the order deposits are received.

4. Puppy Pick — Our puppy-pick process begins when puppies are approximately 2 weeks old. Families select in deposit order, and we help guide you through the process.

5. Go-Home Day — Puppies are ready for their new families at approximately 8 weeks old. The remaining balance is due at go-home time.

Families may arrange local pickup in Elko, Nevada, or contact us to discuss delivery for an additional fee.

Our puppies are raised in our home and are not kenneled. They receive individual attention, love, and care as part of our everyday family life.

Health is an important part of the Willow Creek Acres program. Our Mini Dachshund parents are Embark health tested, and our Rough Collie parents are Gensol health tested. Health-testing documentation is available to prospective puppy families upon request.

Our puppies receive premium veterinary care, and Melanie’s oldest daughter, Dr. Brandi Waheed, serves as our program veterinarian and personally handles our puppies’ well checks.

We currently feed and recommend Purina Pro Plan as part of our commitment to quality nutrition and giving our puppies a healthy start.
